Are you currently in freak-out mode about doing all your gift shopping? Or, do you always find yourself in a pickle over what to get for niece X, aunt Y, or friend Z? Welp, you’re going to be happy to know about this place!
Meet Lori and Arthur Greene, parents of Gillian Elizabeth and Dermot Richard, and owners of Elizabeth Richard gift store in Woodbury.
Come with us as we browse the store – we’ll show you some of our favorite things and who knows, maybe you’ll spot a thing or two – for someone on your gift list, or for you – nobody’s judging.
The store carries gifts and wares for every occasion…and we mean EVERY occasion. You’d be hard-pressed not to find something for X, Y, and Z here!
Being the bride-to-be that she is, Lora made a bee-line for the bridal section. Elizabeth Richard carries the Kate Spade by Lenox collection and it’s ta-die for! Brides and grooms, this is a great place to register.
Meanwhile, you’ll find me fawning over this fringed bag. Don’t you love it?
They carry fashion jewelry and fine jewelry.
And this line, Nora Fleming, which we loved! Each platter or serving piece has a little hole in the corner for you to add your “mini” to suit any occasion. A flag for July 4th, a Christmas tree, a football, a bee, and so many more. It really appeals to our desire for easy entertaining!
Of course, I loved the bee “mini.”
Lots of cool wine and barware.
Plenty of items to personalize ranging in price…you’ll recognize this great idea from our Unlocking Litchfield Holiday Gift Guide.
They even have an entire area of MEN gifts (“men” should be said with a deep voice)…which is great, because we all know how hard they are to buy for!
Also worth mentioning; they carry unique pet gifts, baby gifts, and edible items.
If you have a hard time picking out greeting cards (which I always do) you’ll be glad to know that they have a large selection of really good ones! When you come across a selection of witty, stylish cards – like they have here – stock up!
I found a birthday gift for my M-I-L and my fashionista friend in Scotland, and Lora found a lil somethin’ somethin’ that looked great on her wrist! Yay!
Besides scratching a bunch of people off of your gift list, you’ll quite likely run into Lori and Arthur, who are just the most cheerful couple. Before moving the store to Woodbury in August, Lori owned the store with a business partner in Waterbury. When the time came for Lori’s partner to move on to other things, she and Arthur decided (over drinks, as the best life decisions are made) that they would continue on together as partners, in the new Elizabeth Richard in Woodbury. Arthur seems to have made the transition from 5th-grade teacher to gift store owner very smoothly.
